Affiliate Disclosure
Some links on this site are affiliate links. Click one and book a tour, and we may receive a commission from the booking platform. That commission is paid by the platform or the tour operator, never by you, and the price on your receipt is the same whether you came through our link or found the booking page on your own. This is how the site pays for hosting and upkeep.
How We Earn Money
Affiliate commissions keep this site running. Every tour listed here, from the $55 Capitol Hill rides to the $595 private tours, links to a live booking page. Book through one of those links and we may be paid a small percentage of the sale. You never pay more for using our links; the amount on the checkout page is the same either way.
Where Links Lead
Each tour card links to a live booking page hosted on an external platform. That page shows the current price, available dates, the meeting point and the full cancellation terms. Most tours listed here, including every Unlimited Biking ride, carry free cancellation, though the exact cutoff window is always stated on the booking page itself. We never take payment and we never handle bookings directly.
Accommodation Links
Most outgoing links on this site point to bookable tour listings. The homepage also carries a few hotel links to Expedia through the Travelpayouts affiliate program, and we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you if you book through them. We do not sell hotel rooms, rental bikes or travel gear, and we hold no inventory of our own. Should that ever change, any new partner link would carry the same clear labeling you see on tour links today. Paid placement is not something we offer. A ride appears on these pages because it can actually be reserved by readers, full stop, and never because an operator paid for the spot.
Who Operates The Rides
Behind each listing stands an actual tour company. Unlimited Biking operates the bulk of what we cover, including the daytime monument rides, the night versions and the Mount Vernon trips out of Alexandria. Separate local operators run the private and family rides, and the Bethesda e-bike listing leaves its operator unnamed. In every case the booking itself, along with payment and cancellation, goes through the live listing rather than through this site.
Spotted An Error?
Operators adjust prices, departure times and meeting spots with little warning, so details here can drift out of date. Spot something off? Tell us via the contact page and it gets corrected. The live listing always has the final word on cost and timing, so give it a read before committing.
